November 2021 - We are pleased to confirm that Norcot Early Years Centre has been awarded a Data Protection Award for recognising high standards of data protection at Norcot Early Years Centre. This award was given by Judicium Education to recognise schools that have made genuine improvements and/or attain high standards of compliance with the relevant statutory requirements and guidance.
General Data Protection Regulations - UK GDPR
On the 25th May 2018, new regulations were introduced which affect how our Centre handles people’s data. Compliance with the regulations will be an ongoing process and the Centre has a service level agreement with Judicium Education - Data Protection Service to advise and manage compliance with the regulation. Part of this is to ensure we have a dedicated Data Protection Officer and details are below should you have any questions. Any queries you have about GDPR and compliance should be reported to Katarina Bingham, Head of Centre - head@norcot.reading.sch.uk in the first instance.
